Grill Event 2010

Dear All,

It is time for our yearly Grill evening.

We plan to have our grill evening for this year on the 17^th of July 2010 (Saturday) at West Park as usual. As we always have new comers, I am giving you the details on how to reach there. We plan to start by 16:00 at the side of the pond as usual. 

Please bring items that you would like to grill (meat, vegetables,etc marinated with your favourite combination of spices. You can also get bread/salad/ rice to go along with the grill). KSM will take care of the drinks. We will have some games including vadamvali – so get those muscles toned up! We will also have some programs for kids – the sports committee will inform you all later on this.

Option1: 

-       U4/U5 to Westendstrasse

-       Tram 18 in the direction Gondrellplatz

-       Haltestelle: Stegener Weg - only 4-5 mins. walk to our meeting place (as shown in the map walk over the bridge, then cross the bridge at the traffic light (left) and then enter the park - keep walking towards right - normally you can't miss it, but if you want then ask for 'Rosengarten Biergarten' - corner of the lake next to Rosengarten is the meeting place!!!)

Option2:

-       From Laim (S-Bahn station), Laimer Platz (U-Bahn station).

-       Bus 41 - Direction Aidenbachstrasse

-       Haltestelle: Ammerseestrasse (around 10 mins. walk to the meeting place or take tram...)

-       Tram 18 - Direction Effnerplatz

-       Haltestelle: Stegener Weg (then the same as in option1)

Option3: 

-       From Marienplatz (U and S-Bahn station)

-       U6 - Direction Klinikum Grosshadern

-       Haltestelle: Westpark (Board on the front side of the train - take the stairs in the same direction of the train, turn right and you will see a green gate - Walk 5 mins straight and enter Westpark - Ask for 'Rosengarten Biergarten' - then see attached map/Option1 - this takes around 10 mins. walk)

If coming by car and you have a Navi, please give Gilmstr – once you reach there you can see the parking area.
